PAS news for January…

Happy New Year!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and is really excited about 2014.

I would like to start by letting everyone know that on Monday 13th January, PAS turned 8! That is 8 great years in business and 8 fantastic years providing sporting activities to many children. We look forward to doing it for many more years to come.

There is so much going on in the world of sport this year, sporting events that should capture the imagination of children watching and hopefully inspire them to play more sport. We have the Winter Olympics starting very soon, the football World Cup in Brazil and the Commonwealth Games, which are a bit closer to home in Glasgow. We aim to focus on these sporting events throughout the year to maximise the attraction to play sport!

Our NEW after school club sessions start this week and next, and each have a World Cup or Commonwealth theme. We have a variety of new games to play and numerous themed prizes to give away, such as flags, posters, stickers, medals and trophies! As many of our clubs run for 10 weeks, finishing around Easter, there might also be some Easter gifts to give away too. We are also introducing a new sport to our Multi-Sports programme… American Football is coming to town! It is a great sport for teamwork and fast and agile individuals.

We are also running our first ever after school club raffle. Should you sign up to participate in any of our after school clubs, your name will go into the raffle to win 2 Champions League tickets to watch Manchester United take on Olympiakos at Old Trafford on Wednesday 19th March. The winner will be announced in February… Good luck.

As well as our after school clubs, our Weekend Clubs have adopted the same theme and each week various Brazilian tricks and skills will be taught, plus with 2 different Multi-Sports each week, our Commonwealth theme will be in full swing. Click here for more info on our Weekend Clubs.

A new update for our Monday Night Elite Club is the fact that it is now open to children up to the age of 16. We did have an age limit of 8 at the club, but as many children wanted to come back after they turned 8, we will open the club up and eventually have several specific age groups. Click here to find out more about this Club.

Our February half-term Holiday and Adventure Camps will be here soon! We have lots going on and it all kicks off on  Monday 17th February. We have Soccer & Multi-Sport Holiday Camps in Glossop, Buxton, Chapel and Disley, plus various extreme activities on our popular Adventure Camp. Click here for more info on our Holiday Camp, here for more information on our Adventure Camp or here to book using our online booking system.

Finally, thank you for taking the time to read our e-newsletter, we hope you found it useful.
