PAS News for July & August…

Summer Camps 2016 are here!

It has been a great first week at our Summer Camps! Despite the mixed weather we have seen great participation numbers and overall had great fun at all of our camps. I guess it is very important to use good facilities throughout the year, as we never quite know what the weather is planning to throw at us. Our Buxton Holiday Camp venue, St. Thomas More School, leads the way with their indoor sports hall, but there is still fantastic playground space when the sun shines. This said, our Glossop Holiday Camp venue at St. Margaret’s Primary School is a great all rounder. The school boasts brilliant playing fields, a smooth playground and possible the biggest indoor hall in the Glossop area. This week has also seen PAS use a new venue for our Holiday Camp programme. We have had the pleasure of using Buxworth Primary School, a true gem of a school situated in a lovely area of the High Peak. Again this school is a great all rounder when it comes to facilities, having a good hall, superb playground space and access to a huge playing field. Overall we have had a cracking week and believe it is only the start of things to come…

Make it a real Adventure…

In addition to our Holiday Camp programme, we are also running a 5 day non-residential Adventure Camp, plus a 4 day/3 night residential Adventure Camp this summer. Both of these camps will be brilliant fun for everyone involved and we just can’t wait to get started! Our residential Adventure Camp is once again fully booked up, but we do have a couple of spaces still available on our non-residential Adventure Camp. Click here to find out more about our non-residential Adventure Camps – http://www.pas.uk.com/adventure-camps/non-residential-adventure-camps/

Save some money with our discounts…

Don’t forget we are now offering a 10% discount for all online bookings! This will mean if you pre-book on any of our Holiday or Adventure Camps and use PROMO10 on our Online Booking System you will get 10% off the price. Our ‘on the day’ prices remain the same, so please pre-book to qualify for this discount. In addition, for those who don’t know we have also increased our sibling discount to 20%. Simply contact the office to obtain the sibling discount code.

Other PAS activities…

We also have a few other activities to shout about this summer… We are running two special days of our specific programme, ‘JungleFit’, which we run in association with CrossFit Buxton. The dates are confirmed for next Tuesday, Tuesday 2nd August and then Tuesday 16th August.  We already have lots of children booked on, but we do have one or two spaces still available. With a variety of fun games and activities, plus the chance to learn new skills and take part in a series of WODs (workout of the day), it really does look like an admissible couple of days! Remember these two special days are open to any JungleFitter, or potential JungleFitter, who want to learn some new skills, work on new exercises, plus take part in some fun competitions with some awesome prizes up for grabs! All the information is on the attached flyer, plus further information can be found via our webpage – http://www.pas.uk.com/junglefit/

PAS has also been granted funding to provide 4 full days of sports coaching in Whaley Bridge! The funding has been awarded from High Peak Borough Council and sees PAS provide sporting activities in the Whaley Bridge Park. The confirmed dates are Tuesday 2nd August, Tuesday 9th August, Tuesday 16th August and Tuesday 23rd August 2016. Sessions will run from the Whaley Bridge football pitch with two members of the PAS team from 10.00pm until 12.00pm and then from 1.00pm until 3.00pm. As these sessions have been funded they are completely free for all children from the age of 4 to 11. Simply turn up on the day and have some fun with PAS!

Finally…

Have a great summer and hank you for taking the time to read our news page, we hope you found it useful.
